Shannon has been serving as BCM leader at Potomac State College in Keyser, West Virginia since the Spring semester of 2019. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies from Shepherd University, a Master’s Degree in Special Education from West Virginia University, and a diploma in Pastoral Ministry from the Bobby Wood School of Christian Studies.
For over twenty years, Shannon has been employed by Grant County Schools where he is a Special Education/Autism teacher at Petersburg High School. He is a member of Petersburg First Baptist Church, where he previously served as their Associate/Youth Pastor and now serves as their Lead Pastor. He and his wife Melissa have been married for over 32 years. They have two daughters, Cheyenne and Marissa.
His goal in ministry at PSC is to connect our younger generation to Jesus and walk with them in their spiritual journey, and to train a new generation of spiritual leaders.
